British Science Week
Last week, our school celebrated British Science Week with a series of hands‑on, curiosity‑sparked activities that brought scientific ideas to life. Pupils explored everything from lava‑lamp chemistry, using coloured liquids and light to observe density and motion, to magnetism experiments, where iron filings formed patterns around magnetic fields. Learners also built solar system models, investigated light and shadows, and took part in creative paper‑engineering tasks that linked art with scientific thinking.
Across the week, classrooms were filled with excitement as pupils experimented, predicted, tested and discovered—embracing the theme of exploration and celebrating how science helps us understand the world around us.
