Mission Statement
At Greenfields School, our mission is to prepare young people for the future by providing an outstanding, nurturing, and therapeutic educational experience. We empower every learner to realise, pursue, and achieve their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally—so they can thrive as ambitious, capable, healthy, confident, enterprising, creative, ethical, and informed individuals, ready to contribute to Wales and the wider world.
Greenfields School is an independent special school, registered with the Welsh Assembly Government since June 2006. We are dedicated to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all learners. Our approach is rooted in strong, trusting relationships, high expectations, and a deep understanding of each learner’s individual needs.
Through personalised learning, therapeutic support, and a broad, ambitious curriculum, we help pupils overcome challenges, build self-esteem, and develop the skills they need for lifelong success. Learners are supported to gain meaningful qualifications and participate in work and college placements, ensuring they are well-prepared for their next steps.
Our small, nurturing setting enables us to tailor education to each pupil, removing barriers to learning and providing opportunities that may have been missed in the past. We believe every child can succeed, and we work in partnership with families and professionals to secure the best possible outcomes.
