Greenfields School is an independent school and was registered with the Welsh Assembly Government in June 2006. It aims to provide a positive and supportive educational environment for all its learners. Through a process of creating a safe learning space, building effective teacher-pupil relationships and identification of individual learning needs, the School aims to prepare its learners for their future by providing them with opportunities to gain qualifications and participate in work and college placements.

The majority of the learners in our care have a history of school exclusion or disruption prior to admission and thus have not been able to manage their behaviour in a formal educational setting. They are often vulnerable and ‘at risk’ with severe emotional and behavioural difficulties which has impaired their ability to be educated alongside larger peer groups. The education offered at the Greenfields School is individualised and tailored educationally to meet the needs of each learner.
