Meet The Education Team

I am delighted to introduce our passionate, dedicated staff team!

Our teaching team at Greenfields School comprises of a number of specialist teachers, many of whom have qualified teacher status or are working towards this whilst working here. All staff are skilled in delivering a bespoke and exciting learning package that is underpinned by strong development of knowledge and skills.

In addition to this, teaching staff also have a tutor group. This means that they settle pupils into school every morning, address any concerns of issues the pupil might be having before lessons and support them with aspects of pastoral care and promoting progress. For example, by providing tutorial sessions in curriculum subjects or supporting them to reflect on and modify behaviour. They also have responsibility for ensuring that individual education plans are completed to a high standard and shared with other staff in the school.

We also have some extremely talented teaching assistants at the school who support the pupils with their learning, social skills and behaviour around the school during unstructured times. Our teaching assistants ensure that pupils develop focus and attention in lessons as well as in building positive relationships with other adults and peers.

Our fantastic school administrator ensures that school systems run smoothly and is the first point of contact for any enquiries from parents, carers or others. She also records attendance and provides important data to leaders.

Finally, our domestic assistant ensures that the learning environment is tidy, clean and welcoming for all pupils every single day.
